1. Enrolment on Modules and Short Courses

Enrolment on any module or short course may be arranged at any time throughout the year but preferably at least 2 weeks before the commencement date.
Places on all modules and courses are limited and early enrolment is recommended.
An enrolment form is provided as Schedules III.  Please photocopy this for multiple use.

2. Hire of Conference / Training Facilities

The ToRobert Centre facilities are available for hire on the following basis:

Eligibility:

  • Member Banks and Associate Corporate Members;
  • Companies, government bodies and legally constituted organisations;
  • Training Providers, registered with the National Training Council, that wish to present courses that are industry or client specific that are not, or could not, be effectively presented by the Institute.

Duration and reservation period:

  • Member Banks and Associate Corporate members may reserve and hire premises for any duration.  Reservations will be confirmed on receipt of formal advice or order.
  • All other permitted organisations must reserve and hire for a minimum of five (5) working days, other than when a ‘spot’ short term hire can be effected in the same week.  Reservation will be confirmed on receipt of an advance payment that represents 50% of the hire charge.
3. Catering

The Institute is equipped to provide refreshments, meals and quality catering services for all functions at ToRobert Centre.

4. Overnight Accommodation

Subject to availability, rooms will be let to any legally constituted organisation for the accommodation of their staff or representatives.

Accommodation is let on the clear understanding that the ToRobert Centre is a training centre and residents must abide by the Institute’s regulations.
Buai is strictly prohibited from the premises.
The consumption of alcohol is not permitted other than for formal functions duly approved by the Executive Director.

5. Residential Training

For all training courses and Associate Diploma modules, special all-inclusive rates covering training course fees, accommodation, meals and personal laundry are available.

6. Cancellation of Training Course Enrolment

Cancellations are to be in writing and faxed, e-mailed or delivered to the Institute.  The date of the cancellation shall be the date on which the Institute receives the written advice.

  • For cancellations received more than seven (7) days prior to the first day of the Course a full refund is made.
  • For cancellations received during the seven (7) days prior to the commencement of the course a cancellation fee of 50% is payable.
  • If no cancellation action has been taken and a person enrolled for a course fails to attend, no refund is permitted and the full course fee applies.  In certain cases enrolment on a later course may be permitted.

Cancellation fees can be avoided by the nomination of a replacement participant.  However such notification of a replacement participant must be made in writing.

The same cancellation penalties apply to Member Banks.  These are effected by way of credit or debit to annual enrolment days.

7. Cancellation of Facility Reservation

The following conditions apply to all organisations:

  • If a cancellation is received more than seven (7) days prior to a booking, there is no cancellation fee and a full refund of any advance payment will be made.
  • If a cancellation is made within seven (7) days before the first day of the reserved period, a cancellation fee equal to the first two days of the reserved period shall be payable, unless, in the interim, the facility is hired by another organisation.
