Cancellation Policy
1. Enrolment on Modules
and Short Courses
Enrolment on any module or
short course may be arranged at any time throughout the year but preferably
at least 2 weeks before the commencement date.
Places on all modules and
courses are limited and early enrolment is recommended.
An enrolment form is provided
as Schedules III. Please photocopy
this for multiple use.
2. Hire of Conference
/ Training Facilities
The ToRobert Centre facilities
are available for hire on the following basis:
Eligibility:
-
Member Banks and Associate Corporate
Members;
-
Companies, government bodies
and legally constituted organisations;
-
Training Providers, registered
with the National Training Council, that wish to present courses that are
industry or client specific that are not, or could not, be effectively
presented by the Institute.
Duration and reservation
period:
-
Member Banks and Associate Corporate
members may reserve and hire premises for any duration. Reservations
will be confirmed on receipt of formal advice or order.

All other permitted organisations
must reserve and hire for a minimum of five (5) working days, other than
when a ‘spot’ short term hire can be effected in the same week. Reservation
will be confirmed on receipt of an advance payment that represents 50%
of the hire charge.
3. Catering
The Institute is equipped
to provide refreshments, meals and quality catering services for all functions
at ToRobert Centre.
4. Overnight Accommodation
Subject to availability,
rooms will be let to any legally constituted organisation for the accommodation
of their staff or representatives.
Accommodation is let on the
clear understanding that the ToRobert Centre is a training centre and residents
must abide by the Institute’s regulations.
Buai is strictly prohibited
from the premises.
The consumption of alcohol
is not permitted other than for formal functions duly approved by the Executive
Director.
5. Residential Training
For all training courses
and Associate Diploma modules, special all-inclusive rates covering training
course fees, accommodation, meals and personal laundry are available.
6. Cancellation of Training
Course Enrolment
Cancellations are to be in
writing and faxed, e-mailed or delivered to the Institute. The date
of the cancellation shall be the date on which the Institute receives the
written advice.

For cancellations received more
than seven (7) days prior to the first day of the Course a full refund
is made.

For cancellations received during
the seven (7) days prior to the commencement of the course a cancellation
fee of 50% is payable.

If no cancellation action has
been taken and a person enrolled for a course fails to attend, no refund
is permitted and the full course fee applies. In certain cases enrolment
on a later course may be permitted.
Cancellation fees can
be avoided by the nomination of a replacement participant. However
such notification of a replacement participant must be made in writing.
The same cancellation penalties
apply to Member Banks. These are effected by way of credit or debit
to annual enrolment days.
7. Cancellation of Facility
Reservation
The following conditions
apply to all organisations:

If a cancellation is received
more than seven (7) days prior to a booking, there is no cancellation fee
and a full refund of any advance payment will be made.

If a cancellation is made within
seven (7) days before the first day of the reserved period, a cancellation
fee equal to the first two days of the reserved period shall be payable,
unless, in the interim, the facility is hired by another organisation.
