The PNG Institute of Banking and Business Management held their Inaugural PNG Banking Seminar at IBBM on Friday 12 November 2011.The theme of the Banking Seminar was Risk Management, and speakers covered recent happenings in the risk domain, risk regulation and compliance, credit risk, market risk and operations risk.Speakers at the Seminar included Dr. R. Bhaskaran (CEO, Indian Institute of Banking and Finance), John Crouch (Chief Risk Officer, ANZ PNG) and Paul Barker (Director, Institute of National Affairs).The seminar also showcased IBBM’s new course offerings for 2012, including their revised Diploma in Banking, IBBM’s E-Learning courses and an array of Soft Skills and Banking and Finance 1 day workshops tailored for the busy working professional.
