COURSE OUTLINE The Certificate IV in Leadership and Management (BSB42015) has been developed to ensure you graduate job ready, with the core business knowledge and skills required to move into management roles in medium to large organisations. Providing a solid foundation and understanding of core management functions, you will learn and develop fundamental management skills, including leading teams, operational planning, risk management, building client relationships and project management.

CAREER  OUTCOMES Graduates of the Certificate IV in Leadership and Management (BSB42015) will be confident and job ready with the knowledge and skills to secure entry to mid-level business support or management roles in a small to large organisations.

Interested in getting an MBA? Graduates of the Bachelor of Business programs will get entry into the Master of Business Administration or other Masters at Torrens University Australia, once you have three years of professional experience.

ENTRY REQUIREMENT A completed Australian Secondary education qualification or equivalent with 3 years of work experience in team leadership role.

This subject describes the skills and knowledge required to implement the operational plan by monitoring and adjusting operational performance, planning and acquiring resources and providing reports on performance.

This subject describes the skills and knowledge required to implement the organisation’s continuous improvement systems and processes. It covers using systems and strategies to actively encourage the team to participate in the process, monitoring and reviewing performance, and identifying opportunities for further improvements

BSBRSK401 Identify risk and apply risk management processes

This subject describes the skills and knowledge required to identify risks and to apply established risk management processes to a defined area of operations that are within the responsibilities and obligations of the role
